How a problem became a brand

He knew the problem.
In the early 1970s, Jeff Bracey worked as a pharmacist in the UK. He suffered from excessive sweating himself and knew how much it could affect everyday life: the shirt you’d rather keep on. The hand you’d rather not shake.

The Encounter
Then he hits her.
An operating room nurse sweats so heavily under her gown and gloves that it makes her job difficult. Nothing off the shelf helps. Jeff makes a decision: He develops something that works himself.

The original odaban® formula.
After six months of work on the formula, it’s ready. It helps the nurse - and soon many others. A solution for one person becomes a brand trusted by people in over 100 countries today.

Today
One formula became a product range.
What started as a spray back then has grown into products for every part of the body: gel for hands, feet, and face, an antiperspirant deodorant stick for everyday use, and wipes for on the go. We develop and manufacture our products in Germany for mainland Europe. Our proven spray formula stays exactly the same.
