How do I use the spray?

The application is very simple:

Timing
Apply the odaban® antiperspirant spray in the evening just before going to bed. The effect can develop optimally overnight.

Skin preparation
The skin should be clean, uninjured, and completely dry. Residual moisture can reduce effectiveness and promote skin irritation. If necessary, you can gently dry the skin with a hairdryer on a low setting.

Dosage – less is more
Our products are highly effective, so a small amount is sufficient.

Apply 1–2 sprays onto a cotton pad and gently dab the affected skin areas. One spray per armpit or skin area is usually completely sufficient.

After application
Let the product fully absorb before putting on clothing. The next morning, you can simply wash the treated areas with water.

How do I apply the gel?

For optimal results, apply the odaban® antiperspirant gel in the evening before going to bed.

Skin preparation

How do I use the stick?

Apply the stick very thinly with 2–3 strokes per armpit or skin area.

After application

How do I use the wipes?

You can use the odaban® Wipes whenever needed in everyday life – ideal for on the go or in between.
For optimal results, we recommend applying in the evening before going to bed on clean, dry, and non-irritated skin.

Take a wipe from the sachet and gently wipe over the desired skin area.

Let the product absorb briefly before it comes into contact with clothing.

Use the wipes for 3–4 consecutive evenings. Once the desired effect is achieved, you can pause the application.

How do I apply the shoe powder?

Before slipping on, sprinkle a small amount of odaban® foot and shoe powder evenly into both shoes and distribute by shaking the shoe.

For regularly worn shoes, it is recommended to apply over several consecutive days. The improved odaban® shoe powder targets odor-causing bacteria and moisture, providing long-lasting hygienic freshness in shoes and on the feet.

Infrequently worn footwear receives the odaban® active protection anew with each application.

Can I also use odaban® during the day?

Yes – depending on the product.

How do I apply the products to the face?

The facial skin is particularly sensitive. Therefore, when using odaban® on the face, special caution and a very sparing dosage are important. Always ensure that the product does not get into the eyes or on mucous membranes.

The gel is especially suitable for use on the face because it can be dosed very precisely.

Apply in the evening before going to bed on clean, dry, and uninjured skin

It is best to apply skincare products only the next morning. If necessary, skincare can be applied about 1 hour after using the gel.

Can I still use other deodorants?

We recommend not using additional deodorants alongside odaban®. Many deodorants contain moisturizing ingredients that can impair the sweat-inhibiting effect of odaban®.

My skin is irritated after application, what am I doing wrong?

We are sorry. Skin irritations can have various causes and can usually be easily avoided or quickly soothed.

Possible reasons for skin irritations:

Too much product: odaban® is highly effective; a very small amount is completely sufficient.
Freshly shaved skin: Please do not apply odaban® immediately after shaving and wait at least 24 hours.
Moist skin: The skin must be completely dry when applying, as moisture can promote irritation.
Sensitive skin: Certain ingredients can temporarily trigger reactions in sensitive skin.

Pause the application until the skin has calmed down
Care for the affected area with a low-irritation, fragrance-free moisturizer
If you have sensitive skin, preferably switch to the odaban® Gel, as it can be dosed particularly gently

What is the difference between a deodorant and an antiperspirant?

Deodorants are mainly used to mask or neutralize odor. They do not contain active ingredients but fragrances and often nourishing ingredients, but they cannot permanently reduce sweat production.

odaban® is an antiperspirant specifically designed to reduce sweat formation. The active ingredients target the sweat glands and reduce the amount of sweat that reaches the skin surface.

Is heavy sweating normal?

Sweating is basically completely normal and important for the body, as it serves temperature regulation.

How does odaban® work?

As an antiperspirant, odaban® acts to inhibit sweating, not just to mask odors. The active ingredient aluminum chloride has an astringent effect: it narrows the openings of the sweat glands, so less sweat reaches the skin surface. What happens to sweat in the body?
