How do I use the set?
In the evening, apply the gel thinly to washed, completely dry skin and let it absorb. In the morning, shower as usual and apply 1–2 swipes of daily Stick per underarm. Use the gel daily for the first 3–5 evenings; after that, 1–2 times a week is often enough.
Why two products?
The gel reduces sweating exactly where you need it - on your hands, feet, face or underarms. Once the effect has built up, you usually only need to use it 1–2 times a week. The daily Stick is designed for everyday use on the underarms, with a subtle unisex fragrance.
How quickly does the gel work?
Apply the gel daily for the first few evenings. Protection is usually built up after 3–5 applications. After that, it is often enough to refresh the gel 1–2 times a week. Individual results may vary.
Where can I use the products?
Use the gel on your hands, feet, face and forehead, along the hairline and on the underarms. Use the daily Stick on the underarms. For larger areas such as the back and chest, we recommend the odaban® Spray. Do not use in the intimate area or around the eyes, or on damaged or irritated skin.
Can I use the gel on my face?
Yes - use sparingly in the evening on cleansed, completely dry skin. Avoid the eyes and mucous membranes; do not use on irritated or damaged skin or directly after shaving or exfoliating. In the morning, wash your face as usual and apply makeup as normal.
Can I use the gel and Stick on the same day?
Yes. Apply the gel in the evening and the Stick the next morning after showering. On days when you do not use the gel, simply use the Stick.
Can it cause a burning sensation?
Mild tingling or itching may occur at first. Apply the gel only to completely dry, intact skin, use sparingly, and take a one-night break if you experience burning. If you have sensitive skin, test it on a small area first. If the symptoms persist, seek medical advice.
Is the Stick suitable for sensitive skin?
Skin tolerance was rated “very good” by dermatest® (patch test on 30 subjects, 06/2024). Do not use on irritated, damaged or freshly shaved skin.
What about aluminium?
In 2023, the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment evaluated new studies: based on current knowledge, adverse health effects from aluminium absorption through the skin are unlikely (BfR 045/2023). The studies were conducted with aluminium chlorohydrate - the active ingredient in the daily Stick. The gel contains aluminium chloride.
